Drey Thomas McCown

Drey Thomas McCown of Newport News, VA, was granted his angel wings on Sunday, June 19th, 2022, at just 24 years old. He was a proud father to two beautiful children; Benjamin Lloyd and Emersyn Grace, whom he loved dearly. Drey was a caring and uplifting man who loved to make people laugh with his impersonations and impromptu stand-up routines. He enjoyed fishing, riding dirt bikes, and creating beautiful artwork. Those that knew Drey will always remember his silly and lovable presence, and he will be missed dearly. Drey has joined his grandfather in Paradise, Lloyd Haskel McCown. He is survived by his loving parents, Tasha and Donnie, grandmothers Janice, Mary, and Linda, auntie “CC”, and cousin Amber. “A momma's boy I always have been, and a momma's boy I always will be”- Drey McCown
