Louisville, KY and was a resident of Hampton for 47 years.
Mr. Uebelhoer served honorably in the U.S. Army. He was a veteran of the Korean War and retired as MSGT after 27 years of service. He received the Army Commendation Medal for saving the U.S. Government and taxpayers 9.2 million dollars. Since 1970 he owned and operated Earl's Cabinet Shop in Hampton. He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Louisville, KY.
Earl was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Henrietta Uebelhoer; two brothers; and one sister. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Miyoko; son, William E. Uebelhoer of Virginia Beach; daughter, Ruth Ann Riegel of Walnut Creek, CA; 3 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers; and seven sisters.
Services will be private.
