

Born in Flatwoods, Kentucky, on July 28, 1935, to Robert L. Davis Sr. and Leva D. Akers, Elizabeth held many roles and was known to many as “Sue,” “Granny,” “Suzy Q,” and “Mom.” She spent over 60 years living in Hampton as a mother, homemaker, wife, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Some of Elizabeth’s passions included cooking, gardening, reading, spending time on the phone, shopping, and being with her dogs. She was most fulfilled by spending time with her family. She could often be found in her chair talking on the phone or in the backyard with her dog.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald B. Milligan Sr.; her brother, Robert L. Davis Jr.; her brother-in-law, Charles O. Milligan, and his wife, Gloria Milligan; her son, Robert C. Milligan (Bobby); her son-in-law, Gregory A. Myers; her grandson, Allen W. Myers; her nephew, Timmy Blanchard; and her beloved dogs, Halie Milligan and Twinkie Milligan.
Elizabeth is survived by her children, daughter Leisa A. Myers and son Donald B. Milligan Jr. and his wife, Diana H. Milligan; her grandchildren, Kayla N. Milligan, Elizabeth B. Milligan, Daniel H. Myers, Stephanie E. Milligan, and Kimberly Meade; her great-grandchildren, Hannah E. Myers, Paisley L. Leonard, Cameron Milligan, Briana Marion, and Caleb Baker; her step-sister, Laura June Williams; her niece, Christie Duhon and family; her nephews, Edmond Blanchard and Joe Blanchard; and many other friends, family members, loved ones, and her dog, Lacey Milligan.
The family will be arranging a celebration of life in the near future.
