Emilie Miscala Lupo

Emilie was born May 10, 1944, in the Philippines and preceded in death by her husband Henry Lester Lupo and parents Dominador Miscala and Fausta Solis. She leaves behind her five children Eduardo Rubia (Jennylyn), Rodolfo Rubia, Evelyn Ferris (Chris), Earlene Webb (Wayne) and Mary Moss (Andrew). Six grandchildren also survive her; April Barone (Nate), Aileen Griggs (Cote), Kelci Ferris (Caden), Cameron and Brendan Moss, Aidan and Piper Webb, Alexis Mesina, Sophia, Ethan Jay and Eduardo Jr. Rubia. Six great grandchildren; Hunter and Mallory Barone, Jayden and Addison Griggs, Beau Pearce, and Ophelia Conner. Siblings; Victor, Jean, Hermie, Ernesto Jr., Dahila and Renato; preceded in death by Rolando and Rodrigo.

She was well loved by her family and friends. Emilie had a great love for gardening, flowers, pottery, and spending her time at the church. Emilie was a member of Liberty Baptist Church, and it gave her great joy to commit all her free time serving the Lord. She was in Heart Throbs, the choir, Liberty Crocheter’s, Vacation Bible School, Shoe Box, Hospitality, library, the grill, Kidsville, Welcome Desk, Bible Study, Kenn Class and served wherever she was needed. Her smile was infectious and could light up the room. She never knew a stranger and shared her love for Jesus to all who met her.

The family will receive friends for a Visitation at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 2551 North Armistead Ave, Hampton, Virginia 23666, on June 8, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A brief Visitation will be held at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home & Memorial Park, Chapel, 2551 North Armistead Ave, Hampton, Virginia 23666, on June 9, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, followed by a Celebration of Life, which will be held at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home & Memorial Park, Chapel, 2551 North Armistead Ave, Hampton, Virginia 23666, on June 9, 2026, at 2:00 pm. The interment will follow the service at Parklawn Memorial Park, 2551 North Armistead Ave, Hampton, Virginia 23666, on June 9, 2026. Pastor Joe Hunt will officiate the services.
