Eog Man Kang

Eog Man Kang, 86, died Friday April 25, 2025, in Oakland, New Jersey. He is predeceased by his wife, Jeong Ja Kang (died 2021). He is survived by his daughters Mary (Hyeon Joo) Sway (husband, Bill) of Buford, Georgia and Susan (Yeong Joo) Kang Vance (husband, Kevin) of Lighthouse Point, Florida, his son David (Byeong Wook) Kang (wife, Mia) of Scarsdale, New York, and his six beloved grandchildren, Kari and Zachary Sway, Ellen and Lucas Vance, and Madeleine and Benjamin Kang.

Mr. Kang was born on December 21, 1938, in Pusan, South Korea, and moved with his wife and children to Newport News, Virginia in 1975. There, they built several small businesses and raised their family. Mr. and Mrs. Kang moved to South Florida in 2013 to live near and help raise grandchildren. He moved to New Jersey in 2024 to be closer to David and family.

Visitation will be held from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm on May 5, 2025, at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, 2551 N.
