Evelyn and Roland were our neighbors in Ferguson Park (I believe Allen was a baby.)I remember Evelyn was a beautiful lady, and Roland quite handsome; and both were so very nice! Seems they had a Henry J vehicle. They both use to play with me;Roland fondly would tell me he was going to "cut my ears off and put them in a cigar box", at which time I would cover my ears,and Evelyn so graciously would tell him not to tease me that way, then we would all laugh. Roland and Family - my heart grieves along with yours that God has chosen to take His and Your Angel Home...'Weeping may last for the night, but a shout of Joy comes in the morning! Evelyn was my mother's neighbor, and more importantly she was her best friend,although Evelyn and I were closer in age.  I loved visiting in her home and seeing the delightful way she decorated.  And  Christmas time was especially beautiful.  She could take a broken piece and make a thing of beauty from it.

Evelyn loved her family and it was evident they loved her as well.  May God bless and comfort them as they deal with her passing.

We are so sorry for your loss. My kids enjoyed our visits with Evelyn and her showing them around her beautiful gardens. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all!

Praying for the family.  She was a beautiful and sweet lady.  I always loved visiting at Aunt Dora's house whenever I knew Roland, Evelyn and the kids would be there. She always seemed to enjoy playing with all of us kids when she was around us.  Becky Hux Seuis

My Aunt Evelyn was always so sweet and loving, as I can remember.  Even though I had not spent a lot of time with her over the years, she was a part of the family and loved very much.  She is my father's brother's wife and I have very fond memories. She is loved. My prayers are with Uncle Roland and my cousins Custis, Lowell, Patrice, and Lauren Lesoine.

Evelyn was a very kind and loving person.  She had a wonderful sense of humor and a laugh that you would remember always.  My sympathy and prayers to her husband  Roland and her sons Lowell and Curtis.  She will be missed.
