Scott had battled cancer for many years. However his diagnosis of Inclusion Body Myositis (IBM) disease ultimately took him. He fought this with everything he had for the last three years.
We ask that you celebrate the wonderful life Scott lived and not to grieve. It is a blessing that he is no longer in pain and is finally at peace.
Scott is survived by his wife, Kathleen (Kathy) Huggett Panton of Yorktown and his sister, Rebecca (Becky) Jones of Kennesaw, Georgia. And we cannot forget his most loving companion, Miss Kitty.
