Faye was born on July 29, 1936 to Bailey and Pearl Ensley. A proud, native resident of Poquoson, she remained there for her entire life. She attended secretarial school before marrying her husband of 47 years, Jarmon, and having two children, Suzanne and Stephanie. She was a full-time homemaker to her beloved family for 28 years, and then we went on to work as a secretary in the US Air Force Civil Service for 16 years.
She was proud of her Waterman heritage, and she loved being out on the water, fishing with Jarmon, and embarking on adventures of any kind. She also enjoyed being with her sisters and her family, especially her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was a longtime member of Bethel Baptist Church, and she spent her spare time crocheting, reading, working on her art, and writing poetry. She truly lived her life to the fullest, every day.
Faye is predeceased by her husband, Jarmon Moore; parents: Bailey and Pearl Ensley; and two of her sisters: Avis Humphrey (Lester) and Phyllis Millen (Kenneth). She is survived by her two daughters: Suzanne Hill (Randy) and Stephanie Holloway (Bub); six grandchildren: Scott Moore (Lindsey), David Porter, Doug Porter, Olivia Brizendine (Adam), Norah Payne (Drew), and Ethan Holloway (Erin); eight great-grandchildren: Larry Scott Moore, Ava Porter, Micah Moore, Maverick Moore, Hunter Payne, Will Brizendine, Waylon Moore, and Jack Holloway; and one sister, Anne Overbay (Sonny).
