Gloria Ann Lambert

Gloria Ann Lambert, 80 years young, beloved mother and friend, moved on to be with Our Lord on Thursday, March 11, 2010. She was born in Portsmouth, Virginia and was a resident of Hampton. Gloria was a member of Victory Christian Center in Poquoson and taught Women's Ministries for many years. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, L.C. Lambert. She leaves behind to cherish her memories her children, Sylvia Smith, Chris Lambert and his wife Nancy, and Connie Cobble and her husband Mike; her grandchildren, Salena Burke, Pao Smith, Vedanta Sproston, Cody Lambert, Sonchay Smith and Carmen Smith; 6 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Ann Covington.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 14, 2010 from 3-5:00 PM at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home. A celebration of Gloria's life will be held Monday, March 15 at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park.
