

She was a native of Dothan, Alabama and a resident of Williamsburg for 30 years. Hilda was a graphic artist and owner of Douglass Composition Services. She was a member of Warwick Assembly of God and devoted her life to missions and the sharing of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
She is preceded in rest by her mother, Fran L. Hallie, and father, William H. Hawkins. Hilda is survived by son, Dale S. Douglass (Vicki); three daughters, Susan Michelle L. Edwards (Doug), Nancy L. Stachey (Howard), Tamara L. Douglass; eight grandchildren, Aaron J. Boughner (Shelby), Gabriel D. Boughner (Jordan), Christian M. Boughner, Nathaniel J. Boughner, Ashley D. Douglass (Chad), Jennifer N. Holmes (Brent), Jillian C. Woolcott (Leland), Caitlin L. Lantz (John); fourteen great-grandchildren, Noah, Jonas, Thea, Ava Grace, Ryley, Savannah Jo, Brok, Baen, Blake, Allison, Jacob, Isaac, Ginny Lu, Arthur; three brothers, Billy W. Hawkins, Don H. Hawkins, David R. Hawkins; and her lifelong best friend, Joyce York.
The family will receive friends at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home followed by a Celebration of Life Service beginning at 2:00 PM in the funeral home. Committal Service at Parklawn Memorial Park.
