He was a member of the Great Springs Nazarene Church of Smithfield. He loved to hunt and fish and was a former member of the Tidewater Bass Busters club.
Mr. Elledge was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Rebecca Elledge. Surviving members of his family include his wife, Faye; son, Allen and wife Una; dearly loved grandchildren, Ashley, A.J., Austin, and Alexis; sisters, Betty Jo Yuhasz, Becky Spiers, Frances Potter and husband Pat; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Buddy and Karen Whitford; many nieces and nephews; and many loving friends.
A celebration of Howard's life will be Saturday, August 7, at 10:00 AM at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home. A time of fellowship will follow the service until 12:00 PM. Following the time of fellowship, interment will be in Parklawn Memorial Park.
