Hubbard (Hub) A. Davis, II, 36, passed away Thursday Nov.19th, 2009. Formerly of Hampton, VA, he graduated from Phoebus High School in 1991 and attended Thomas Nelson Community College. Hubbard was preceded in rest by his grandmothers, Ida Conklin Carter and Vera Thrift Welborn. Hubbard is survived by his son, Christian, mother and stepfather, Brenda and Richard Welborn of Smithfield; father and stepmother, Hubbard and Joanne Davis of White Stone; brother, Rick Welborn; grandparents: Milton J. Carter and James C. and Anna Davis, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. A Celebration of "Hub's" life will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, Nov. 24, at 1 PM.
