Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Graham and Viola Butler, and siblings, Robert Butler and Alice Harris. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Betty M. Butler; son, Allen Butler and wife Peggy; grandchildren, Colton A. Butler and Summer E. Butler; daughter, Lori A. Canaday and husband Kirk; grandchildren, Stephen A. Canaday and Emily R. Canaday; and sisters, Joyce Lancester and husband Gary, and Dorothy Pillow.
The family will receive friends from 11 to 12 pm Friday, November 30, 2012, at Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 179 E. Mercury Boulevard, in Hampton, with a celebration of Jack's life to begin at noon. Interment will follow at 2:30 pm at Parklawn Memorial Park.
