He was preceeded in death by his mother, Gladys; Stepfather, Don; Father, Merlim; and two of his sisters, Judy and Lynn.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Kathy; two sons, John (Lindsey) and Justin (Jessica); grandchildren, Jordan, Jaylyn, Jakob, Logan, and Dylan; and sisters, Nancy and Dianne.
Jack was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, where he served 20 years and retired at the rank of MSgt. Upon retiring from the Air Force, he worked for the City of Hampton and retired in 2020.
Jack was a hard working, selfless man who would do anything for his family and friends. He devoted his life to others and was that person you called when you needed help. If you needed him, he was there. Making other people happy is something that always made him smile.
A visitation for Jackie will be held Saturday, June 4, 2022 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, 2551 N. Armistead Avenue, Hampton, Virginia, followed by a celebration of life service at 3:00 PM.
