Jeanne H. Lewis

Jeanne was a Purchasing Agent for the US Civil Service at Fort Eustis, retiring in 1978.

Jeanne had the privilege of traveling with her husband while he was stationed in the military. Among those places were Trieste, Italy, Monterey, CA, Coronado, CA, and Honolulu, HI. Upon her retirement, she divided her time between the Outer Banks, NC, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and Hampton. Her extensive traveling also included cruises to the Caribbean and Central and South America.

Jeanne was preceded in rest by her husband of 48 years, Harold Carlton Lewis, and grandson, Franklin Overton Day. She is survived by her daughters, Jayne Lewis Day and husband, Overton of Falls Church and Donna Lynn Lewis of Hampton; grandchildren, Sasha Day Shultz and Christopher Lee Perrin; great-grandchildren, Erika Lyn Perrin, Christopher Riley Perrin, Zoey Christine Perrin, Madison Alexandra Shultz, and Claire Isabella Shultz; and twin sister, Junita McPoland of Pittsburgh, PA.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 17 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home. At the request of the family, funeral services will be private.
