Jerry was born in Rochester, Indiana on January 17, 1940 to parents Forest and Catherine [Briney] Campbell. He joined the US Air Force in 1957 and earned the rank of Master Sergeant as part of the USAF Security Service, having served for 23 years at numerous bases across the US and abroad. He later worked in the private sector until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Stanka; son, Jon; sister, Barbara Ann; cousins from the Calhoun family; and many nieces and nephews from the Prathaftakis family who dearly loved him and have fond memories of "Uncle Jerry."
A celebration of Jerry's life will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, December 16, 2016 at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home.
