Joyce Faye Warren

Joyce was born July 2, 1935, in Williamston, North Carolina. In 1955 as a young wife and mother, Joyce moved to Virginia with her husband, Earl.

For 40 years, Joyce was co-owner of Warren’s Service Center doing whatever to support her husband whether it be bookkeeping or pumping gas. She loved talking with the customers.

Joyce’s greatest joy was her home and family. She enjoyed her garden each summer and loved orchids. Joyce was a devoted “nana”, providing love and support for her grandchildren. She was a fiercely independent, strong, and determined woman. Joyce was an active member of Parkview Church of God.

Joyce is preceded in death by her husband, Earl Warren.

Left to cherish her memory are her three children, Vicky Carter (James), Gina Warren (Scott) and Norman Earl Warren; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. Later this year, she was to be blessed with another great-grandson and a great-great-grandchild.

A graveside service will be held on 11:00 AM, Friday, June 25, 2021 at Parklawn Memorial Park, 2551 N. Armistead Ave, Hampton, VA 23666.
