June C. Stewart, 81, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2011, surrounded by her family, in Richmond, Virginia. She was a native of Luxor, Pennsylvania and a resident of Hampton since 1960. June worked many years at Peoples Drug Store and retired in 1991. She was a member of Community Presbyterian Church in Hampton.
June is survived by her husband of 60 years, Leroy W. Stewart; her son, William L. Stewart and wife, Staci; her daughters, Deborah S. Andrews and husband, Louie, and Cindy Jo Clark and husband, Garry; 7 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of June's resurrection will be held Saturday, May 28, at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home, officiated by Dr. Louie V. Andrews, III. Interment will be at a later date.
