She was born on April 13, 1950 in Trenton New Jersey, to Chief Warrant Officer Claude and Ilse Hilliard.
Kaylene was an "Army Brat", she enjoyed traveling to exciting places, like Japan, Germany, Italy, and France.
She retired from Langley Air Force Base in Hampton Virginia, after 37 years of dedicated service.
Kaylene is predeceased by her parents, as well as her beloved husband David E. Anderson.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son Louis Ruffin, her daughter-in-law Christy, sister Claudia Wikan and brother-in-law Chip, grandsons Hunter and Justin Ruffin, and great granddaughter Amelia.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday May 28,2026 at 2:00 PM at Parklawn Memorial Park mausoleum, located at 2551 N. Armistead Ave, Hampton VA, 23666.
