I was a friend of larry's who went to school with him. the scary thing is i saw him the day before he passed away and he was so happy and full of life. im very sorry for your loss, and miss him very much.

I still can't believe that Larry is gone and I sure do miss him,he was always a cool guy,funny, awesome man that you'll ever get to know, and as the Native American Blackfoot proverb goes "Life is not separate from death it only  looks that way"

I taught Larry & Shylistraia at Spratley.  This is very heart-breaking.  He was such a sweet, loving young man.  I know you will miss him terribly.  Your family has been in my prayers.

My heart goes out to the Masopust family and especially to Larry. I remember him as the goofy kid that was full of comedy and always cheerful. I only knew him for my last two years at Phoebus, but in that time, the impression I got of him was that he had a spirit about him that would find light in any situation he found himself in. I believe that he will find that same light and happiness where ever he goes next.

Celebrating a life well lived. We will cherish the memories forever.

Larry was a silly goose and that's what I believe made him such a fun friend. Its so sad to see him leave but I think he would rather not have us weep but to rejoice in the great memories of him then look to the stars and smile. Remember the stars that once caught our eyes the most are the ones that will burn in our hearts the brightest. I love you all and I hope this little saying of mine will ease your hearts.

Masopust family~ I am one of Jacob's teachers and often saw Larry in the hallways of Phoebus High School.  Never is it easy to lose a loved one, but to lose a child is unimaginable.  My thoughts and prayers are with you.  Know that Larry is now at peace, resting and living in a world only we can hope to one day live!

To the Masopust family:
I had the pleasure of getting to know Larry last year in Ms. Harris' senior English class. We spent many days hearing stories of Larry's adventures. He was an absolute joy to be around. I'll never know why these things happen to such young, incredible people. Larry was the sweetest guy, and he was very much loved! I am proud to have the memories I have of him, and will never forget all the lives he blessed with his presence. I will always remember the laughs we shared, and how he loved to talk about his video games! I wish nothing but the best for his family, and pray that you all understand he is in a better place. He is already greatly missed. Rest easy, Larry. Ms. Harris' class loves you!

I had the pleasure of teaching Larry at Spratley middle school. He was a very good student. When he attended Phoebus high school, I always enjoyed talking with Larry when I saw him in the hallway. I will always remember his big smile. We do not always understand why things happen the way they do, just know that Larry is in a better place. May God comfort you.
