Lawrence Bartholomew Famighette

Lawrence B. Famighette, 41, of Hampton, VA passed on October 28th, 2025. He is survived by his mom, Deborah, his brother Victor, his little sister Lauren, and most importantly by his two wonderful children he adored and loved very much, Vivienne and Lorenzo. Larry is also survived by his fiancee Mindy and his lifelong friend Fritz, who through Larry’s battle with cancer supported him and helped him until the very end. Larry had many friends who he loved dearly and cherished those friendships deeply. He is predeceased by his dad Larry, his uncle/godfather Matthew, along with many other family and friends. Larry was definitely welcomed with open arms by them when he reached the gates of heaven early Tuesday morning when he reunited with them. Something tells us heaven just got really loud with all those Famighette men up there.

Larry was born in Huntington, NY on January 28th, 1984. He was the oldest of his siblings and many of his cousins who he adored and loved greatly. He was in the U.S Navy and afterwards worked for the City of Norfolk. Though, his favorite job in the entire world was being a father. Larry was a die hard Jets fan. J-E-T-S! JETS, JETS, JETS! His interests included spending time with family and friends, cooking, disc golf, watching sports, riding his motorcycle, fixing and building things, and listening to music. He was also an avid concert goer (more cowbell).

Larry was an extremely loyal, down to earth guy, who had a sense of humor, and truly cared about his family and friends. Larry was a wonderful father, son, brother, cousin, friend, and fiancee. Life had its ups and downs for Larry, but he always preserved. He fought a courageous cancer battle privately and he put up one hell of a fight until the very end. He will be truly missed by all who loved and knew him. His family hopes he knows how truly proud they are of him. They hope that he can rest easy and is no longer in pain.

A visitation will be held for Larry on Sunday November 2, 2025 from 2-6 PM at Parklawn Wood Funeral Home, located at 2551 N. Armistead Ave, Hampton VA 23666
