November 7, 1950September 2, 2019

Louie Pucci, 68, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2019.

Louie leaves behind his sister; Barb Howard; brothers, James (Jimmy) Pucci and Tommy Pucci; nephews, Tony Howard and Earl Jr Howard; niece, Gina Woolever; and his very best friend since childhood, Ted Speas.

Louie joins his mother and father, Florence and Thomas Pucci, in Heaven.

The family would like to thank all his caregivers during his very long battle with heart disease, especially Kathi Humphrey, Kris Humphrey, the caring staff at VCU, and his dedicated doctors, Dr. Smallfield, Dr. Patel and Dr. Kim.

Louie lived a full life enjoying karaoke, boating and hanging out with friends. He worked at Bendix and Pucci's Body Shop in previous years prior to his heart disease. He especially loved going out for a good meal and loved his Italian spaghetti and meatballs at Mama Rosa.

Everyone has their favorite "Louie story". A Celebration of Life will be anounced later for family and friends to share your "Louie" story

I knew Louie years ago at school. Most kind person you ever want to meet. What was amazing is he always looked you straight in the eyes when you talked to him. Condolences to the family.

Louie was a good friend. From the beach days, to karaoke, to simple cookouts on the deck, we shared good days and challenging ones as well. He will be missed. Hugs to his family. I hope warm memories comfort you during this sad time.

Barbara, Jimmy and family, I was so sorry to get the news about Louie from Dianne. I know he had a rough time and is now in a better place with no pain. We had the best times in our neighborhood and looking back now there are a lot of funny and crazy stories we could tell about all of us. Louie will always be remembered as that cute kid on the corner of Greenwood Drive and Big Bethel Road that all the girls had crushes on.

Barbara, Jimmy, Tommy & family- from the day y'all moved to the corner of Greenwood Drive I fell in love with Louie. His gorgeous smile and charismatic ways made every girl fall in love with him. I have so many memories of our friendship from being his girlfriend in elementary school and junior high, our first kiss, dancing in the breezeway, blinking bedroom lights to say goodnight, playing pool in my garage and so much more!!! Y'all had a terrific brother! I know how hard this is on all of y'all and I pray that you will accept his passing as a celebration that he's now pain free and with the Lord and Mom & Dad Pucci! I love all of you! Dianne Rhodes Lynch

To Barbara, Jimmy and family,
We're all connected by many memories and we shared the best times of our lives growing up together. Louie was always eye candy for all the girls in the neighborhood. He had the look, the charm and a hot car to earn the title. I can admit he was definitely my first boy crush. But time marches on and we all go our separate ways. As I remember and honor Louie, I choose to recount the fun times together, laughter and a lifelong friendship.

For the Pucci family, I know your heart is heavy and the grief is very painful. I pray God will hold you and comfort each of you through this journey learning to live without your beloved brother/loved one.

With all my love and deepest sympathy ~
Mary
