Going back to the days of yesteryear, a very sweet and dear friend that will be remembered always.

The prayers and condolences of the Southern Heritage Preservation Group go out to Bobby Edwards,  and his family, in the loss of his sister Lula.  We can rest in the assurance that our God is still in control, even when the path before us seems darkest - it is then that  we need Him the most!  May our Lord grant each of you His peace.

Aunt Lou was a kind hearted, sincere, loving woman. I was blessed to be able to grow up across the street from her, my Uncle Jim and cousins for many years. Our families spent almost every day  together. Whether we were playing dodge ball in our yard, with my dad, Ed at one end and Uncle Jim on the other, croquet, swimming in our pool, playing red rover, tag, hide and seek, or going to Grandview beach and being so excited because we got to ride in Uncle Jim's Jeep. I will always cherish those years I had with her and am grateful that we all were raised by good parents who believed and taught us that FAMILY is number 1. I know she has moved on to a better place now and is at peace in GOD'S hands. We can all rest assured that she has been reunited with her TRUE LOVE, Uncle Jim, as well as our other family members that all greeted her with open arms and LOVE. She is now one of GOD'S ANGELS watching over and protecting us. I LOVE YOU and will see you once more when my work on earth is done. LOVE your niece Brenda

Donna, Loney, Ginny, and Jimmy Jr.:  I know it's been quite a few years since we've seen each other but I loved your Mom for the sweet, kind, christian woman she was.  I have great memories of her, especially of us cooking frog legs in her kitchen.  I will be praying for all of you during this time of your great loss.  Much love to all of you, your cousin, Pat Guthrie Rhoden.

I'm sorry to hear of your loss I know that Lou is in a much better place, she's free of pain. she's in that big mansion in the sky with Jimmy & the rest of her family that went long before her. I love you all.

I am so sorry for the loss of your Mother, Grandmother.  I know your hearts are heavy and hurting now.  I pray for you comfort and peace that only God can give.
Lu was a sweet and kind lady and had quite a sense of humor also.  She was a very good friend, as was your Dad, to my Mom and Dad through the years.  They are all reunited now and I'm sure Mom and Lu have a lot of "catching up" to do.
I loved Lu for the caring person she was.  She would go out of her way to help those she loved.
Diane, Loney, you are to be commended for the way you cared for her during her illness.  You both saw to her every need.  I know it was very hard for you to give her up.  
It should go without saying and this I'm sure you already know....if you need ANYTHING at all, please let Brenda/me know.  We will be there for you.

 Our thoughts and prayers are with the Williamson family at this difficult time. May each of you find comfort in the knowledge that part of this sweet lady lives on within each of you. We feel very honored and blessed to have had the pleasure of meeting this very special lady. May God strengthen and comfort you all.

Grandma Davenport said something like not being afraid of death, she heard there was going to be a reunion for the Davenports and knew that she would be in a place where there was great love.  She had tried to pass on the teachings of those who taught her.  Lula paid attention!  Our little LULU is going to be missed.  God Bless and Keep all of you safe and in his care.

No bond is as great as that between a parent and child.  Our deepest condolences are with you as you grieve.
