Maria Cruz Ryan

She was born in Amulung, Cagayan, Philippines on May 1, 1939. Mary enjoyed playing bingo and poker, watching game shows, listening to Elvis, and golfing. She especially loved cooking and spending time with her late husband of 58 years, her children, and grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Mary Robinson (Chris) of Toano, Patrick Ryan (Dee) of Hampton, Christine Williams (Wayne) of Poquoson, Richard Ryan (Lisa) of Yorktown, Dolores Saetre of Hampton, and James Ryan (Roma) of Toano; grandchildren Jenna, Tyler, Patrick, Mallory, Brittany, Meredith, Emily, Megan, and Mason; and great grandchild Kinsley.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 8, 2022, from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM, at Parklawn Wood Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Hampton, on Friday, December 9, 2022, at 9:00 AM, followed by an interment at 11:00 AM at Parklawn Memorial Park.
