My heart is completely overwhelmed with the sadness of knowing Marlon is no longer here. My deepest, most sincere condolences go out to the entire Oliver family. Marlon will forever be family to us. We loved him. Rest in Paradise, Marlon! Say hi to Di and Grandma. They will surely be looking for you :-)

I am deeply saddened.  A beautiful soul will be missed at Lowe's.  Marlon was one of the customers I always enjoyed helping because he was always so friendly and pleasant.  Always laughing and joking, and forever talking about his wife and babies.  My heart and prayers go out to the entire family.

I am shocked and saddened to hear about Marlon. I just saw him at Lowe's where he was one of my favorite customers. We would laugh and joke and he would talk about his children and wife whom he loved dearly. I saw him one day having dinner at Golden Corral and he told me to make sure I stopped by his table to meet his family. He was such gentleman and all around great guy.  I will miss him and his smile. Disbelief!

MO, my best and only contractor!  I am still in shock. I saw you resting peacefully. Even though this is hard for me, it doesn't compare to what Kimberly is going through. I will always remember your humbleness and your love for your family and God. I will be here for your family, if it's God's will, that they need anything. Boss Lady will miss you!

This one is remains a shock tome.  I find myself visiting your facebook page to confirm this is all true.  My heart goes out to your family.  May God give them comfort while you rest in peace.

Marlon, all I can say is Why?  One of the goods guys that were left. You were such a humble, honest, funny, loving man.  I want to remember like I saw you last.  I was just going to ask you to come help me fix up my house to sell after the holidays.  Now what am I going to do.  I couldn't even get a lock on my door today?  I guest its true you don't miss someone till there gone.  Well Mo Handy you will be truly missed.  My love goes with you.

Had a chance to talk with you a few months ago and expressed how it was good to see a brother have passion for what he does. Mo Handy  knew how to make his work the best! You will be remembered for being whatever you meant to all of us that knew and love you bro!

Although it has been years since we had the opportunity to sit and talk, I cherish the times we did. Growing up in Progressive, we always looked forward to our quarterly meetings when we'd be able to see our dear friends and laugh it up a little, and man, did Marlon keep us going! I had the chance to reconnect with him recently, and the love and joy that he had for his family was evident. My heart was saddened when I received the information of his passing. I know it hurts you all in a way you can't even begin to explain, for that reason alone, you all will forever be in my prayers and thoughts.

Marlon, you definitely will be missed brother. We've known each other since we were kids and you have always been that same down to earth, funny and genuine person. Rest easy now my friend until we see each other again. May the Lord bless your wife, kids and family.

I only met Marlon recently on a job site.  I found him to be a very thoughtful  and caring person.  He really cared for his family and loved his"Babies" dearly.

I worked with Marlon, and was so sad to hear of this. Marlon was funny but also had alot of wisdom, he helped me in times of grief with words of wisdom. I Strolling through wallmart a few weeks ago when I heard a voice say Aunt Deborah, it was you Marlon,we hugged each other we talked about 45 mins.
