He passed away unexpectedly from a massive heart attack on Dec. 24, 2020 while being attended to at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU).
Martin was a very dedicated father and a loving son. He was beloved by his parents, son, and most anyone who met him. He will be missed dearly by his older siblings, his uncles, his brother-in-law, and niece and nephews. Martin had an Associates Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. He worked for the Virginia ABC stores at the time of his death. He loved playing video games and playing with his son.
Martin is survived by his parents, Daniel & Christa; his seven year old son, Andreas; his sister, Tanja, who lives in Virginia Beach; his brother, Thorsten, who lives in Germany; and his godfather, Guenther. Martin was blessed with six nephews and one niece.
We will be having Martin’s funeral service on Jan. 20, 2021 at 2:00 PM at St Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church, 3800 Big Bethel Rd. Yorktown, VA 23693.
