For many years I worked in Hampton and knew Mary through the professional groups I belonged. She was always a kind and soft spoken person. I am very sorry for your loss. May God Bless you and your family.

She came to us one day out of the blue- a simple interview that lead to a few years of adventure. Whatever task was at hand, Mary completed it with integrity and a full heart.
Her smile and laugh was contagious. Her wisdom and strength unmatched. Her beautiful handwritten notes touched many lives.
I will always remember Mary’s love and devotion for her family. I know how special you are because she shared your stories.
Mary Acol walked as an Angel on Earth- I can only imagine her Glory in Heaven.

Mary and I became friends in 1979 at Pine Chapel Baptist Church. Chad was only two and had never been left alone. Naturally he started crying and I told her he would be fine that I would take care of him. When the service was over he was sitting in my lap playing and having a good time. That was the beginning of a wonderful friendship. We had so many years of good times, sad times and always fun times. We laughed, cried, talked and had so much fun together. I love her very much and she will be deeply missed. Till we meet again.

I will always be grateful for you. I was young in the world of property management 20 years ago, and you always taught me to be myself and never change. You taught me to always be honest, never sway in the wrong direction even if it’s not the outcome you want. You were my mentor, you were my role model, a shining star that will never go dim. You changed my life. You were an angel who entered my life at the right time. I will think of you often my friend, you have no more pain here on this earth, rest easy until we meet again. ❤️
