Michael R. Benner, 68, passed away peacefully in his home on Tuesday, September 3rd,2024. Michael was the husband of Kathleen D. Benner with whom they would have celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary on November 19, 2024.

Michael recently retired from working 40 years in the painting field. He was also a business owner of 10 years for his painting company, Benner’s Painting. His customers enjoyed his warm energy and his artistic painting style. In his spare time, Michael loved fishing and building model cars. He enjoyed more vintage style cars as well and hoped to have one of his own one day to build on. Besides cars and fishing, Michael had a very fond love for the water and was fascinated with the intricate details of lighthouses. Enjoying the nature and fresh air of the
beach was his serenity. He was also lucky enough to witness the dynasty of Tom Brady and Bill Belichick; something 90% of football fans will never get to witness. The thing Michael held closest to his heart was his family. Every decision he made was for the benefit of his family reflecting how selfless he really was. Surviving in addition to his wife, two sons: Shawn Benner and Eric Benner. Three grandchildren: Elizabeth Benner, Sierra Benner, and Emorie Benner. Two sisters Kim S.
