Kay was a Georgia native, but she had been a resident of Hampton for the past 31 years. She served her family as a homemaker, mother, and grandmother.
She is preceded in rest by her daughter, Tammy Jo Gray.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 65 years, Bruce Schultz; her two sons: Dan Schultz and Stan Schultz; her ten grandchildren: Thomas, Chris, Katie, Marissa, Chase, Rachel, Jessica, Christian, Josh, and Jeremy; and eight great-grandchildren.
The family will welcome friends on Thursday, November 2, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home Chapel, 2551 North Armistead Avenue, Hampton, VA 23666. A funeral service will start at 10:00 AM, followed by an interment at Peninsula Memorial Park, 12750 Warwick Boulevard, Newport News, VA 23606.
