Nancy Woodmansee Cox

Nancy Woodmansee Cox, 70, passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2021. Born on January 16, 1951 to the late Bill and Gene Woodmansee, Nancy is now with Jehovah after courageously battling dementia. She was a baptized Jehovah's Witness and studied the Bible avidly. Nancy was a true lover of all animals and surrounded herself with pets her entire life (wild and domestic). She also loved the outdoors, plants, car rides in the county, and watching the world from her porch swing. Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Bob Cox; sons, Gary L. Watson and Aaron C. Cox; grandson, Memphis A. Cox; and older sister, Beverly Bowen. Nancy has left a void in the world that cannot be filled, but she will be remembered by all that loved her. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, 2551 N. Armistead Ave., Hampton, VA, 23666.
