To the family of Olive Dale, you all were so blessed to have such a wonderful and talented Mother.  She was very dear to me.  She taught me how to make knitted dishcloths.  Olive-Dale was very talented and will be greatly missed.  You know, I always called her by her whole name because it just sounded like it was suppose to be uttered that way.  I will treasure the memories we shared.  She was one of our golden members at Golden Thimble NeedleCraft Guild in Hampton, VA.

 How my heart hurts, but knowing she is with her Heavenly Father eases the pain. We have lost a true southern lady and my kind and loving Aunt. Uncle Herbert and Aunt Olive leaves behind a very close family that reflect their value for generations to come. Well done for the both of you.

I'm sorry to hear of your loss. I knew Olive through Golden Thimble Guild. She was such a sweet person. Her needlework skills were beautiful. I was always amazed she could do the finest crochet without glasses! I loved her and will miss her.

I was sorry I was unable to make the funeral.  I knew Olive through the Golden Thimbles Needlework Guild, and enjoyed talking to her.  She was a very special person.  She will be missed

Herb, Glen and Family,

I was sorry to learn of the passing of your Mother/Grandmother, Olive "G.G" Dale.  I know over the years, she gave many blessings to many people but none more than her family which I know she dearly loved.  Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you or your family.  Blessings to all.

Olive was one of the sweetest ladies I've ever known.  She was such a faithful and loyal servant of God.  I enjoyed driving her home after choir every week.  We had such wonderful talks.  She had such a beautiful and infectious smile and was loved by everyone. Her presence will truly be missed.  God truly has a new angel in Heaven!
