My father was one of the most intelligent and driven men I've ever known. He had an ability with numbers and equations that few humans possess. Thanks for all your support and guidance. Your work ethic lives on through me. You were often tough on us but I know it came from a place of love. Your retirement was not what you wanted but you had a loving and dedicated wife by your side. You are finally free from pain and discomfort. I hope you are proud of your son.  We will see each other again. Thank you dad.

Thank you all for remembering my Dad today. I know he must be feeling very happy and proud to have helped so many people achieve their dreams. Love you so much, Dad. I will never forget you.

A great man who leaves a lasting legacy both with his family and his students. He was so passionate about his work and he helped me learn to be both a teacher and researcher.

Dr. Kandil was my master's and Ph.D. advisor. I have many fond memories of working with him and think of him often.

Words cannot express my deepest sympathy to the Kandil family.  Dr. Kandil paved the budget experience pathway  for me.  He hired me for a financial advisor position that I was inexperienced at the time to do.  I will always remember him for that.

Dr. Kandil was my academic advisor and my mentor. His solid teaching and technical knowledge have been the foundation of my career. I am forever grateful for his time and effort. His legacy lives on through his students. My thought and prayers will go with his friends and family. May God's grace and mercy embrace them during this season of life. May peace and comfort be with you.
