She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Akers; her son, Terrence "Terry" Akers; her mother, Florence Eyrich; her step-father, Charles Eyrich; her father, Raymond Gring; stepmother, Frieda Gring; sisters: Deborah Couch and Kathy Raifsnider; and her son-in-law, Larry Pickett.
She is survived by her son, William "Bruce" Akers; her daughters: Mary Akers and Michele Akers Pickett Smith (Doug); sisters: Andrea Dean (Norman) and Sandra Eyrich; brother-in-law, Timothy "Tim" Couch; granddaughter, Susan Vaughan; grandson, Eric Pickett; and great-grandson, Peyton Vaughan.
A funeral service for Patricia will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, 2551 North Armistead Avenue Hampton, VA 23666, followed by an interment at Parklawn Memorial Park.
