

She was born on January 31, 1951, in Kathleen, Georgia, to the late Essie Polk. She was joined in holy matrimony to Sceavern Hagan and to this union six children were born.
A devoted wife, Patricia was the central figure in the lives of her children, a loving daughter, sister, and grandmother. She made caring for her six children a top priority and it was her love for Jehovah, daily prayers, and the support of her family that got her through it all.
She was proceeded in death by her mother, Essie Polk; three brothers, Eugene Mitchell Jr., William Mitchell, and James Mitchell; a sister, Dorothy Johnson; a granddaughter Amaria Hagan, and grandson Demarco Hagan-Stovall, both of Virginia.
She was survived by her husband, Scearven Hagan of Hampton, Virginia, three daughters, Victoria Hagan of Hampton, Virginia, Shanika Stovall of Newport News, Virginia, and Felicia Hagan of Chesapeake, Virginia; three sons, Mitchel Hagan, Steven Hagan (Leiya) of Yorktown, Virginia, and Lawrence Hagan (Teia) of Lawrenceville, Virginia; five sisters, Catherine Mitchell, Mary Head, Letha Nelson, Mable Haynes, and Rebecca Polk, all of Georgia; two sisters-in-law, Aldonia Hagan of Claxton, Georgia, and Jean Larry of Elizabeth, New Jersey; one brother-in-law, O'Neil Young of Statesboro, Georgia; fourteen grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life for Patricia will be held Saturday, February 5, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
