Holly was born on March 1, 1971 in Festus, Missouri to Remy Yanguas and Monte Townsend. She moved to Hampton, Virginia in 1978 where she attended Lindsay Junior High School and Hampton High School. On March 16, 1991, she married David Evers. They had two beautiful children, Christopher and Amanda.
Holly had a passion for horseback riding, swimming, and watching the horse races. She also loved to draw and she combined her two hobbies to create extraordinary art. Her drawings of horses were admired by all. She always had a love for animals. She loved her dogs Kush, Cali, and Lulu. She admired her time with friends and family, and she was well-known for her beautiful eyes, her infectious smile, and her genuine, kind and nurturing spirit.
Most of all, she loved her children and instilled in them strong values that have served them well throughout their early adult lives. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
Holly is survived by her two children, Christopher (Chris) and Amanda Evers; her parents, Remy Yanguas and Monte Townsend; her two sisters, Antoinette (Toni) Yanguas Cass, and Cheryl and husband Richard (Rich) Parris. She also leaves behind several cousins, nieces and nephews, and an abundance of lifelong friends.
