

Patrick Noah Norman of Birmingham, Alabama, passed away on March 30, 2014. He was the son of Robert Lee and Leona Braden Norman of Newport News. Aside from his parents, he is survived by his brother, William Gregory Norman; sister-in-law, Amy Carroll Norman; and niece, Renee Amalie Norman, all of Virginia Beach.
Patrick was predeceased by his grandparents, William Vernon Braden and Kathleen Willbanks Braden, and Noah Murchison Norman and Mary Moody Norman, all of Trussville, Alabama.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 4, at Parklawn Memorial Park, officiated by Fr. Peter Tran of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Newport News.
Patrick was born December 18, 1971, in Salzburg, Austria. Growing up as an “Army brat”, he lived in Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Florida, and Europe. He had an engaging and outgoing personality and made friends everywhere he lived. Pat held degrees from the University of Louisiana-Lafayette, the University of Alabama-Birmingham, and Florida State University. He was an avid college football fan, especially University of Alabama football, and enjoyed sharing his passion for the sport with his friends. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
