

Paul worked as a builder and retired in 2003 after 20 years of service. He served honorably in the U.S. Marines and qualified as a sharp-shooter.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Palmer and Olivia Rhea; sister, Dian Dail; and son-in-law, Michael Putman.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 49 years, Shirley Rhea; daughters, Sheila Clark and husband, Dave of Hampton, Paula Delph and husband, Eddy of Hampton, and Debra Walls and husband, Shane of Moncks Corner, SC; grandchildren, Amanda Delph, Jennifer Delph, and Benjamin Walls; brothers, Jackie Rhea of Mineral, Jerry Rhea of Poquoson, and John Rhea of Richmond; and sister, Brenda Holland of Spotsylvania
The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 26 from 6 to 7:30 PM at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home. A celebration of Paul's life will be held Friday, August 27, at 11 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park.
