Pauline Mae Heckman

On December 3, 2012, Pauline passed away at St. Francis Nursing Center, Newport News, VA, where she had been a resident since July, 2010. Born Pauline Mae Hagenbuch in Lehighton, PA on November 17, 1919, she was 93.

Mrs. Heckman was preceded in death by her husband Stanley A. Heckman and is survived by her daughter, Donna Toler (Grady), of Yorktown, VA, a granddaughter, Lori C. Leib (Rick), a grandson, Nicholas C. Collina (Emily) and two great-grandchildren, TylerLeib of Newport News, and Lynsey Leib of Richmond, VA. Pauline is also survived by a brother, Richard Hagenbuch of Palmerton, PA and numerous nieces and nephews. Pauline worked many years in the Ladies Garment Workers Union, in Allentown, PA as a seamstress.

She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Newport News, and will be remembered for her love of family, music and dancing. The family wishes to thank the management and staff of St. Francis Nursing Center for their care and compassion.

There will be a memorial service to celebrate Pauline's life on Sunday, December 9, 2012, from 6:00 to 7:30 pm at Comfort Suites, 12570 Jefferson Avenue, Newport News, VA.
