Peggy Holloway Harris, born May 21, 1935, died, Saturday October 11, 2025. She was raised in Poquoson, Virginia with her two brothers and five sisters (all deceased). She married Julius E. Harris of Seaford, VA (also deceased) with whom she had two living children, John E. Harris and Mark A. Harris.
She graduated from Christopher Newport University in 1982 with a liberal arts degree. She was a member of the Yorktown Women’s Club for many years. She was an avid tennis player and loved all sports.
She loved her animals and especially loved her birds and squirrels, which she fed daily on her deck. She will be missed.
A graveside funeral service will be held at Parklawn Memorial Park, located at 2551 North Armistead Ave, Hampton, Virginia, 23666. The service is scheduled for October 22, 2025, at 1:00 pm.
