Peggy was called home on December 12, 2011. She was born in Florence, South Carolina, but raised in Hampton. She worked at Eastern State Hospital for ten years. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Ned and Doretha Hill, and a son, Timmy Sheets.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, David Sheets; son Davy Sheets; daughter Angie Blankenship and husband John; five grandchildren, Dylan, Daphney, and Ally Sheets and John, Jr. and Justin Blankenship; brother, Jerry Hill and wife, Brenda, and many nieces and nephews.
She was a second mother to many and will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know her. A celebration of Peggy's life will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, December 16th at the funeral home.
