Phillip N. Cash

Cash, Phillip Neil, age 87, of Hampton, Virginia, surrounded by friends and family, departed this life on March 23, 2022. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Maureen Dolores Cash. He is survived by son, Michael Neil Cash (Sarah), daughter, Shari Cash Drake (Michael); four grandchildren, Lauren Cash, Megan Cash, Caleb Drake, and Nathan Drake. Phil was a Hampton Police Officer for 24 Years and a US Marshall for 18 years. Phil was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Hampton and a Mason for 60 years. He kept everyone on their toes, was full of life, always a twinkle in his eye. He was tough, overcoming many obstacles without complaint and had more lives than a cat. He loved to travel and loved nothing more than sitting on the beach in Venice and Naples Florida. Phil was an animal lover and enjoyed his time with dogs, cats, chickens, and a pet pig. He will always be remembered as someone who had never met a stranger and enjoyed life to the fullest. There will be a memorial service for Mr. Cash at the Masonic Home of Virginia at a later date and his ashes will be scattered in the Gulf of Mexico. His family would like to give thanks to the Masonic Home of Virginia for the wonderful care they provided Phil over the last three years.
