Quellyn Rae Hollingsworth, 79, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2016. She grew up in Alabama and Mississippi and was a resident of Hampton for 46 years. She attended First United Methodist Church of Foxhill. Quellyn was a member of the Virginia Choral Society for over 20 years and also sang with several other choirs.
She was preceded in rest by her parents, Irless Woodfin Campbell and Lona Lou Avery. She is survived by her husband, Victor Lane Hollingsworth; daughter, Dixie LuWille Hollingsworth Wilson; son, Richard Woodfin Hollingsworth; 3 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and brother, James Elliott Campbell.
A celebration of Quellyn’s life will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, April 11, 2016 at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following in the service.
