Rebecca was a native of York County and life-long Virginia resident. She graduated from York High School and went on to have a career as a bus driver for the York County public school system.
She is survived by her husband of over 40 years, Robert Wainwright; son, Josh Wainwright; daughter, Suzanne Wainwright, mother, Roberta Garrison; sister, Carmen Garrison; and two brothers, Timothy Garrison and Charles "Chuckie" Garrison Jr. She also leaves behind a host of devoted friends and colleagues. She was beloved by all who knew her, and she will be dearly missed.
A celebration of life service for Rebecca will be held Saturday, February 25, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Parklawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, 2551 North Armistead Avenue, Hampton, VA 23666.
