He resided in York County, where he grew up attending York County schools.
He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Richard spent most of his life working in retail, working for 7-11, Exxon and most recently Kroger.
He was preceded in rest by his father, Frank Wilson, Sr. Surviving members of his family include mother, Martha Wilson; sister, Barbara Pettigrew (Bill); brother, Frank Wilson, Jr. (Chris); and numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
A private service remembering Richard’s life will be held at a later date.
The family requests donations be made in memory of Richard to the Missions Fund at Bethel Baptist Church, 1004 Yorktown Road, Yorktown, VA 23693.
