Robert Lasher was born on March 24, 1935, in Kittanning, PA and was the son of A. Roy and Florence Lasher. He passed away on July 26, 2026. Robert was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years Lorraine Lasher.
He was a humble man and a devoted husband, dad, grandfather and great grandpa who will be greatly missed. Robert retired from the United States Air Force 24 years of service and following his military service Robert had a successful career and 2nd retirement as a probation officer for the City of Hampton, VA. He attended the Church of the Nazarene and Bible Way Church.
He is survived by his Children: Robert L. Lasher, Vicki Henson (Ralph), Linda Elder and Steven Lasher (Virginia); Grandchildren: Lee Lasher (Michelle), Jennifer Bollinger (Joey) Brian Henson, Stephen Elder, Thomas Lasher and Nicholas Henson; Great Granddaughter, Zoey Bollinger.
The family will receive friends for a Graveside Celebration of Life with Full Military Honors that will be held at Parklawn Memorial Park, 2551 N Armistead Ave, Hampton, VA 23666, US, on July 30, 2026, at 11:00 am. A Reception will follow in the Reception Hall at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home. Celebrant Duanita Blunt will be officiating the services for the Lasher family.
