Robin Ann Burrell

Robin Marshall Burrell, 59, passed away on Thursday, March 21. She was preceded in rest by her parents, Roland and Margaret Marshall; husband George Taylor; her daughter Georgina Taylor; and sister Daisy Bartles. Robin was born on November 02, 1959 in Newport News, Virginia and was a lifelong resident. She enjoyed playing Bingo and games on her tablet, along with the games on Facebook. She was a collector of all sorts of knick- knacks, and she loved her animals very much. In the past, Robin was an avid beach goer. She also made a lot of pottery as well. Her love for her only grandson Gavin knew no bounds as she would do any and everything she could for him. Robin is survived by her beloved husband, Thomas Burrell; her son Richard Taylor; grandson Gavin Taylor; four sisters; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many friends. A visitation will be on Wednesday, March 27th from 11AM- 3PM at Parklawn- Wood Funeral Home. A service will be held to celebrate Robin’s life on Thursday, April 4th, 2019 at 11AM at Parklawn- Wood Funeral Home. Interment will be private. The family asks that in lieu of flowers you make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
