It is with deep sadness we announce the death of Ronald Wayne Williford, age 66, who died on Friday, April 24, 2026 at Riverside Hospital in Newport News, VA. Ronald was the eldest son of former Air Force CMSgt Garland Wayne and Ernestine Warrick Williford of Hampton, VA.
Ronald was born at Offutt AFB near Omaha, NE on September 16, 1959 and traveled with his family to Frankfurt, Germany; Seymour-Johnson AFB in Goldsboro, NC; and Langley AFB, VA. He was a Hampton resident for more than 50 years.
Ronald is survived by his Parents; a sister Catherine Annette Williford of Hampton, VA; Two brothers: Robert Allen Williford and wife Brenda of Friendswood, TX; and Richard E. Williford of Newport News, VA; and special Niece Samantha Rene Williford of Newport News, who will forever hold dear the memories and love shared.
A private family viewing will be held prior to cremation and internment in Parklawn-Wood Cemetery at a later date.
