Rose Marie Mason

A devoted Baptist, Rose found joy and comfort in her faith, which guided her throughout her life. Her son, James Mason Jr., dedicated 24 years as her caregiver, a testament to the strong family bonds she fostered.

Rose was predeceased by her parents, her husband, James Mason Sr., her daughters Sherry Grabinski and Jamie Ramsey, 13 brothers and sisters, and her grandsons, Danny Johnson Jr. and Charles Mason Jr. She is survived by her loving children, Barbara Napier, James Mason Jr., and Charles Mason; her sister, Elsie Raynor; five grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Rose's hobbies included playing bingo and exploring yard sales, activities that brought her much pleasure and connected her with friends and the local community.

Memorial services will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home & Memorial Park in Hampton, Virginia. Rose will be deeply missed by all who knew her, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, resilience, and love.
