Roy served honorably in the U.S. Navy during WWII and was awarded several medals. He was later employed with the civil service as a carpenter.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Baker and Flora Partin. He is survived by his twin brother, Ray Baker; his niece, Karen Lawrence; and his nephew, Kyle Lawrence.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 11, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at Hampton-Veterans Memorial Gardens.
