He was a graduate of Hampton High School (64), the NASA Apprentice School and Virginia Tech (Army Corp of Cadets, Psychology & MBA). Russell was a Vietnam Veteran. He was the Owner of Lyeth Electric and a broker at Cardinal Realty of Hampton Roads, Ltd. He was a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church & The Adirondack Presbyterian Church.
Russell is survived by his wife of 44 years, Virginia, adored Children and Grandchildren Howard (Lara, Louise, Harry), Chantal, & Heather McFarling (Brandon, Emily, Auburn), beloved Brothers Richard (Josie) and Bruce (Karen), nieces & nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Hampton, VA.
